This framework comprises three main elements: (1) a Gamification Platform that includes a UI, scoring system, and skill system; (2) a Database that maintains information about, e.g., products, activities, training, work steps, levels of knowledge, employees, and their KPIs; and (3) a Digital Work Place that includes level-based work information, an evaluation system, and a feedback system. The framework was developed particularly with the gamification of Industry 4.0 processes in mind.
