Description
This framework comprises five layers. Among them are three game modelling layers, namely: (1) the gamification model (GML) of game elements; (2) the game model (GaML) of game mechanics; and (3) the game instance (GiML) of game dynamics. There are also two game utility layers – the game simulation (GsML) and game adaptation (GadML) – which can be defined atop any of the game modelling layers.
