Description
This framework was developed to advance sustainability by enhancing residential energy consumers’ engagement with energy applications. The framework comprises the areas of (1) a Goal; (2) Energy applications; (3) Requirements; and (4) Components. The Components sphere includes the constituent spheres of (1) the Technical system; (2) Game design elements; and (3) the Value proposition. Game design elements comprise the categories of (1) Information provision; (2) the Rewarding system; (3) the Social connection; (4) the User interface; and (5) Performance status.
